Control box setup

No programming. The box is a wireless keyboard to the PC: plug in, put a battery in, play. Five minutes.

V2.5 and other RF dongle boxes

  1. Plug in the dongle. It is the small USB receiver that came with the box. Any USB port on the sim PC. That is the whole connection.
  2. Put the battery in. On the back of the box, take out the single screw on the battery cover, insert one AA battery, and put the cover back.
  3. GSPro version, first time only: one Device Manager step. Windows treats the box as a keyboard with a system controller attached, and that controller has to be switched off once.
    1. Press the Windows key + X and choose Device Manager.
    2. Expand Human Interface Devices and find HID-compliant system controller.
    3. Right-click it and choose Disable device, then Yes.
  4. Press a button. The box wakes on its own, sends the GSPro hotkey printed on the button, and goes back to sleep when you stop. There is no on/off switch.

Second functions (optional)

Install free BA Remapper on the sim PC and pick the Basic Secondary profile. From then on, hold Shift (the Reset Aim button), then press a button to get its second function: move forward, move back, next option, drop ball / rehit, OB rehit, clear view. The base functions keep working with or without it.

SimMarshal (Bluetooth)

  1. Pair it once with the sim PC, Mac, iPhone or iPad, like any Bluetooth keyboard: Bluetooth settings, add a device, pick the SimMarshal.
  2. Pick your program. The box powers on in GSPro. Press the top-right button to cycle to SkyTrak Course Play, TGC 2019, FSX Play and back.
  3. Charge the included 18650 battery when it runs low.
