What it does
Every button sends the GSPro hotkey printed on it, so the box works the moment the dongle is in the PC. The PC sees it as a wireless keyboard: nothing to install, nothing to pair. Use it on the floor with a club or on a table by hand.
- Aim up, down, left and right, plus Reset aim.
- Club up and club down.
- Tee position left and right.
- Mulligan, heat map, putt, flyover and shot cam, one press each.

GSPro has things a hotkey cannot do: the relief menu after a water ball or out of bounds, drop ball or rehit, picking the ball in a scramble. Normally you walk to the mouse. With free BA Remapper you hold Shift (the Reset Aim button), then press a button, and the box does the click for you: move forward, move back, next option, drop ball / rehit, OB rehit, clear view. Smart Clicks read GSPro's relief menu off the screen, Auto-Pick Scramble picks the best ball, and the Button Builder lets you set any second job yourself. No other control box does this.
New to GSPro? The standard 14 functions are more than enough. The second layer is there when you want it.
Common questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. Plug the dongle in and the box works like a wireless keyboard. The one-time Device Manager step for the GSPro version is in the setup guide.
Is it wireless?
Yes. Every BA control box is wireless. The V2.5 uses an RF dongle in the PC, up to about 10 m; the SimMarshal uses Bluetooth.
How long does the battery last?
Years on a single AA, because the box sleeps on its own and wakes when you press a button.
What about the things that need a mouse in GSPro?
That is what free BA Remapper is for: hold Shift, then press a button, and the box does the click (relief menu, drop ball, rehit, scramble pick). No other control box does this.
Can I change what a button does?
Yes. BA Remapper's Button Builder lets you set your own second jobs.
Can I get my logo or different colors?
Yes. Choose the custom version and Ba prints your logo, your layout, your button colors and the second-job labels right on the box. Email, call or text to talk it through.
Can I pick my own box and lettering colors?
Yes. That is part of the customize option: your logo, your layout, your colors (blue, bronze, brown, gold, silk blue, grey, green, orange, purple, silk purple, silk green, white, black, yellow, red) and the second-job labels printed on, all in one upcharge. Works with
- GSPro: built for it. Every button is a GSPro hotkey, and the second layer with BA Remapper covers the mouse clicks.
- PurePlay: the new simulator software (early access this fall). The box works with it natively; Ba has been working with the PurePlay developers so the buttons do the right things out of the box.
- Launch monitors: any that runs GSPro or PurePlay.
- PC: plug the RF dongle into a USB port on the sim PC; the box shows up as a keyboard. Windows 10 or 11 for BA Remapper.
- Play FSX Play, TGC2019 or SkyTrak Course Play too? That is the SimMarshal, which has those and GSPro built in. If you only play GSPro, the V2.5 is the one.
